Amitabh Bachchan has never done this before but this time he has been forced to step out and answer back Shatrughan Sinha for his comments on the nominations list of the IIFA awards. Amitabh is the brand ambassador of IIFA and so he had to make a few things clear. Shatrughan Sinha has quoted looking at the nomination list of the IIFA awards that Sab kissika beta hai, ya kissiki bahu, ya kissiki biwi. This was a direct hit on the film GURU. Guru which was directed by Mani Ratnam had Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai is in the list of nomination in all the main categories like the Best Picture, Best Director and Best actors of the IIFA awards.

This is what IPL was promising and this is what people were expecting a starry night. I could not have asked for more. And what about cricket? Oh yes! Cricket. Oh we could that too! IPL has given new meaning to cricket. It not only about the game now, it is more about the stars. In the inaugural match of IPL one could see Shah Rukh and wife Gauri present to cheer their team. We also had Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Rampal, Mehar Rampal, Karan Johar,Zayed Khan and Juhi Chawla to support Shah Rukh’s Knight Riders. The night sure had a big does of glamour teamed u with good cricket.

It is not the first time that we are seeing this happen in bollywood. Even earlier actors like Raj Kapoor, Manoj Kumar, Guru Dutt, DevAnand many more took up direction in their hands and gave brilliant films to the Indian Cinema. They proved to be very successful in the beginning but some of them failed to change with the changing times and faded away. This trend of actors turning Directors is being followed even today. First we saw Rish Kapoor trying his hand in direction and now the current generation is wearing director’s hat after being fully prepared for it. Aamir Khan directed his first film tare Zameen par and won hearts. Now Ajay Devgan is waiting for his fate as a director to be decided by the audience after the release of U me Aur Hum.

Farah Khan started her inning in bollywood as a choreographer but now she has turned in to a successful director. Today after the success of Om Shanti Om Farah Khan is busy with her kids. She has recently delivered triplets. She says that life has changed after having the babies. She thinks she has become a softer and happier person now. She is also very clear with her priorities in life now. For her it is more important now to entertain her babies and impart them knowledge. Farah was recently seen promoting the diaper brand Pampers. Shirsh and Farah have named their daughters Diva and Anya, and son Czar.
