Sanjay Leela Bhansali is well known for his quality films. And his latest magic is Saawariya. Saawariya is here to bring back the happening on-screen chemistry between Salman Khan and Rani Mukherjee. The story is inspired from the short story titled “White Nights” written by Fyodor Dostoevsky. The movie has been in news for one more reason- star kids, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. Saawariya is yet another musical by Bhansali which is set in the British Raj in India. Shot extensively are taken in Simla. Rani Plays the role of a prostitute named Gulab and Salman plays a young dreamer in the movie. ‘ In the short story, the protagonist is young 26 year old man who is a dreamer. He comes across a young lady at St. Petersburg and their story begins. The story is named White Nights as it is actually a weather phenomenon in St. Petersburg when days are as bright as night. The short story is based on four nights that the protagonists spend together.”

There has been a controversy on the fact that Katrina Kaif entered the Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti Dargah in a short skirt and also with the fact the scene was shot without any permission. The first problem is that Katrina should not have entered the religious place wearing the short skirt as this has offended religious sentiments and the permission for the shooting should have been taken from the Dargah committee which was not taken. Katrina has been sent a court notice, but she says that she is waiting for the director Vipul Shah’s advice, who is in Goa, she will wait for his arrival and then make a statement.

Desibaba thinks that Katrina herself should have thought about the skirt issue herself, I mean after all it should be common sense and she must have felt it was wrong to wear a short skirt in a Muslim place.

Abhishek Bachchan is all set for his next film Drona, this is superhero film which is apparently supposed to be much better and larger budgeted film than Krrish. The Bachchan family is investing big money into this film especially after seeing Abhishek’s performance in the film Guru. Mr Bachchan has been taking a keen interst in the film and no to mention an interest into the special effects which are done with precision. Every effort is being made to outdo Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish. Jaya Bachchan will also be casted in this film playing the mother of Abhishek Bachchan. Well all we can do now is wait for the film to be released.
